Creating positive spaces for young people.
RISE creates spaces where young people can take part, build relationships, stay active and develop the confidence and skills they need to move forward.
Our youth work combines regular activities with sport, workshops, outreach and opportunities that help young people connect with trusted adults, their community and their future.
Be active
Sport, physical activity and positive spaces that support health, confidence and connection.
Build confidence
Trusted relationships, new experiences and opportunities to develop personally and socially.
Find opportunities
Skills, workshops, volunteering and pathways that help young people take their next step.
Take part with RISE.
Our youth programme combines regular spaces to meet and socialise with sport, learning, workshops and opportunities for young people to develop their interests and confidence.
RISE Youth Club
A regular space where young people can meet friends, take part in activities and spend time with trusted youth workers in a welcoming environment.
The Youth Club provides more than somewhere to go. It creates opportunities for conversation, participation, personal development and connection with wider support.
Calisthenics
Outdoor strength and fitness sessions giving young people an accessible way to exercise, learn new skills and challenge themselves physically.
The sessions also create routine, peer connection and a positive environment where young people can build confidence through progression.
RISE United
Football gives young people a regular opportunity to stay active, enjoy the game and build relationships through teamwork.
Our approach uses sport as a positive point of connection, supporting confidence, discipline, participation and stronger relationships with peers and youth workers.
Youth Workshops & Development
Workshops give young people practical information and space to explore issues that affect their everyday lives and future.
Topics have included community safety, Zero Responder, money management, employment support, personal development, health and wellbeing, alongside sessions delivered with specialist partners.
Youth work that connects with real life.
Young people do not experience their lives as separate programmes. Our role is to build relationships and connect activities with wider support, learning and opportunity.
Engaging young people in community settings, building relationships and creating opportunities to discuss safety, risk and the issues affecting their lives.
Football, calisthenics, padel and other activities give young people opportunities to try something new, stay active and connect positively with others.
Young people can connect with workshops, employment support, practical skills and wider opportunities through RISE.
Consistent youth workers and community spaces help create relationships where young people can ask for support, share concerns and find their next step.
From taking part to taking the lead.
We want young people to be able to grow within RISE rather than simply attend an activity. As confidence and experience develop, there can be opportunities to contribute, volunteer, develop leadership and explore further progression.
