SISTER CIRCLE & Young bame WOMEN MENTORING PROJECT
Our innovative programme the ‘Sister Circle’ for young Somali and BAME women in Haringey, empowers young women who are on the fringes of society and who face social isolation and alienation. The Sister’s Circle supports young women to access employment and educational pathways. We have covered workshop topics such as well-being, mental health, hate crime, women’s empowerment and personal and career development. This vital initiative ensures that women from the community are engaged and supported to improve their life chances.
